Bronchiolitis, infantile
acute viral infection (often caused by the respiratory syncytial virus [RSV] or the parainfluenza 3 virus) of the lower respiratory tract with feeling of suffocation, wheezing, crepitation, and respiratory distress. Affect children up to 18 months of age, and especially those under months of age.
