Operating conditions

The EO sample is diluted 1/25 in hexane (sigma, H1379) and injected 0,5 to 1,0 ml at a time directly in two glass capillary columns (0,3 mm x 60m) respectively filed with DB-I and DB-Wax. They are subjected to a temperature gradient from 70°C to 250°C in increments of 2°C/min.
The FISON GC 8180 chromatograph is equipped with ionization flame detector (F.I.D.) and use helium (1ml/min) as carrier gas.
